  1. This is the anonymous FTP area of cs.arizona.edu, run by

  7. General questions about the FTP area can be addressed to lab@cs.arizona.edu.
  8. Questions about a specific package should be addressed to its maintainer,
  9. typically as indicated in its README file.

  11. Exported files are grouped in subdirectories.  These include:

  13.     agrep    approximate text search
  14.     anrep    approximate network regular expression pattern matching system
  15.     assembler    fragment assembly system
  16.     bib        the time.bib and database.bib bibliographies, and bibliographic
  17.             database software
  18.     fab        fragment assembly browser, individual files
  19.     icon    the Icon programming language
  20.     janus    the Janus programming language (translated to Sicstus)
  21.     japan    information related to computer science in Japan
  22.     reports     technical reports published by U of A Computer Science Dept.
  23.     sbprolog    the SB-Prolog implementation of the Prolog language
  24.     scorpion    the Scorpion software development system
  25.     snobol4    the SNOBOL4 programming language
  26.     sr        the SR programming language
  27.     xkernel    the xkernel operating system kernel

  30. Transient files for export can be stored in the "pub" subdirectory without
  31. prior arrangement by members of the computer science department.  
  32.  
  33. Incoming transient files can be stored in the 'incoming' subdirectory 
  34. without prior arrangement.  This subdirectory is such that files can
  35. can be fetched from and put into it by name, but outsiders cannot browse
  36. in it.

  38. Please delete files in 'pub' and 'incoming' after a successful transfer 
  39. has been verified.  These files are subject to deletion after 5 days.
